Students from around the world calculated their class mean and standard deviations for their footprints and posted them on our world map.
Do you see differences across the globe? If so, why do you think those differences exist?
Did you use the calculator to try to reduce your footprint down to the average from a citizen of another country? What changes would you have to make to lower your footprint in this way? Are you going to try and take some of these actions in your daily life?

USA Carbon Footprint
Hi, my name is Claudia. I am from Mooresville, North Carolina, USA. My carbon footprint was about average to to all the people in the USA. I was quite shocked because I thought mine would be lower. We normally car pool with people and I eat small meals. My family and I have our lights off when we don't use them. The TV is on a lot of the times, sadly, and I wish it weren't. We do recycle and give our animals the wasted food. I think to take my footprint down I am going to start riding a bike and buying more organic foods. I will also use less water and electricity.
I feel like that my problem to.
what made you think yours was gonna be lower?
