Students from around the world calculated their class mean and standard deviations for their footprints and posted them on our world map.
Do you see differences across the globe? If so, why do you think those differences exist?
Did you use the calculator to try to reduce your footprint down to the average from a citizen of another country? What changes would you have to make to lower your footprint in this way? Are you going to try and take some of these actions in your daily life?

climate change...why?how?
It is very hard to walk somewhere or ride our bikes to places. The distance between places in my area are very far apart. So I have to drive a lot to places. Which is kind of upsetting because driving a lot reduces a lot of carbon and co2. Some kids also go to private schools, so that’s even farther than public schools. Sometimes it takes 30+ minutes. So even if they don’t have after schools activities and they go straight home after school. That’s still an hour of driving. An hour of carbon being released.
So what can we do? We can try our best to walk more and use our bikes more, or even take public transportation, or carpool. There are so many things that we can do to help climate change and the world. We just have to try our best.
What do you do to help climate change? How do you get to school? How do you get to places?
