Students from around the world calculated their class mean and standard deviations for their footprints and posted them on our world map.
Do you see differences across the globe? If so, why do you think those differences exist?
Did you use the calculator to try to reduce your footprint down to the average from a citizen of another country? What changes would you have to make to lower your footprint in this way? Are you going to try and take some of these actions in your daily life?

Extreme Weather
In relationship to all the carbon being put in the air, a lot of questions are asking, well what is it doing? What is the mass number of carbon doing in the air. Well first off, it is creating such a huge impact on the earth. We are slowly killing her. It is sad to know that even beneficial things for us is actually hurting the Earth. So many hurricanes, earthquakes and huge storms having been affecting everyone. It is so sad to know that so many people have been losing their lives, with the actions that we have taken. One of the big problems that we have are huge uncontrollable wildfires.
As an example I can show you how not only the fires are bad but so are the people who are in charge in funding help for these out of control wildfires. Firefighters are risking their lives for people who don’t even care that wildfires could kill them. Political leaders have been cutting back funds for helping forest fires because it's not that big of a deal. It is very sad to see so many people forgetting about the little big things that can hurt us the most. A lot of people not only have lost their homes but also their lives in wildfires. I think a huge reason for our troubles with climate change is our budget scenario. I think if we could just give a little bit more to some climate change projects it would make it so much better.
