Students from around the world calculated their class mean and standard deviations for their footprints and posted them on our world map.
Do you see differences across the globe? If so, why do you think those differences exist?
Did you use the calculator to try to reduce your footprint down to the average from a citizen of another country? What changes would you have to make to lower your footprint in this way? Are you going to try and take some of these actions in your daily life?

Home Usage
After I finished calculating my carbon footprint, the results showed that most of my emissions come from my house usage. Most people don't realize it (myself included) how much water/electricity is being wasted. I always tend to keep the tap water running or leaving lights on when I'm not using them. These problems can be fixed very easily by everyone.
It can be fixed if people were more mindful about how much water and electricity is going to waste. For example, I need to work on taking shorter showers and turning lights off. There are a lot of LEDs in my room and sometimes I leave the room for hours, not even remembering leaving them on. Also, not abusing the house's climate system. If you are cold, don't immediately turn on the heater. Wear thicker clothes or even a blanket. Those are just a few ways on how people can be more efficient.
