Students from around the world calculated their class mean and standard deviations for their footprints and posted them on our world map.
Do you see differences across the globe? If so, why do you think those differences exist?
Did you use the calculator to try to reduce your footprint down to the average from a citizen of another country? What changes would you have to make to lower your footprint in this way? Are you going to try and take some of these actions in your daily life?

We can reduce our footprints
Following my results, I realised we harm Mother Nature extremely bad through simple daily activities such as keeping the lights on when we actually don't need them, purchasing things we don't always use, circulating by car instead of walking or riding a bike etc. There are a lot of customs we can get rid of, fact which would help the nature and our lives, too! Everybody should try to reduce his carbon footprint step by step so as to reduce the damage we are provoking to the Earth. These results made me understand I am able to help this world through my seemingly insignificant activities. Are you able, too?
