Cattle industry effect on our Earth
Livestock food production is the cause for one-fifth of the greenhouse gases that are emitted into the atmosphere. It also pollutes our waters, rivers or oceans, and uses lots of land. Although all livestock production seems to affect the GHG (greenhouse gas emissions) beef is the most prominent. According to the National Academy of Science, the production of beef needs five times more GHG compared to other livestock. In closing beef production uses more of our resources and is polluting our air and cutting beef out of our diets will actually go a long way in helping our earth!
