Carmen's footprint (Mooresville, NC, US)
Hello my name is Carmen Sanchez, I am in 11th grade at Mooresville, NC, USA. I was assigned this project in my science class to determine our carbon footprint.
My results were:
Transportation: 6,703
Home: 1,907
Food: 5,090
Purchases: 557
Total Footprint: 14,259
I was surprise at first because my transportation was so high but I realize later that that is because I already went two times to Mexico. My home average was lower because I turn off the lights when I don't need them, the same with water. My food average was high because I work on McDonald's and I eat in there almost every day. My purchases average was lower because I don't really went to shopping. That was a great project because we shared our information with other students all over the world.
