Students from around the world calculated their class mean and standard deviations for their footprints and posted them on our world map.
Do you see differences across the globe? If so, why do you think those differences exist?
Did you use the calculator to try to reduce your footprint down to the average from a citizen of another country? What changes would you have to make to lower your footprint in this way? Are you going to try and take some of these actions in your daily life?

I like trains...
There are some really supa Fabulous trains out there that the Japanese have that are equipped with solar panels. Maybe instead of driving cars, we could all have these groovy little solar trains and take them wherever we want. sorta like a light rail or subway, but more good.
I also like trains and I think the idea you have here would be very beneficial to the environment and is something people should consider more.
what if next to the rails you had solar panels to power the cars
I think its really cool and it also prevent people from having traffic.
That would be a great way to get around but what if the place your trying to go doesn't have a train stop or is far away from the train tracks?
Smart cities have good integrated transit services so that there are convenient bus lines and bicycle paths that go to the train stations. In cities in Sweden, there are literally hundreds of bicycles locked up by the train stations in the morning.
