Students from around the world calculated their class mean and standard deviations for their footprints and posted them on our world map.
Do you see differences across the globe? If so, why do you think those differences exist?
Did you use the calculator to try to reduce your footprint down to the average from a citizen of another country? What changes would you have to make to lower your footprint in this way? Are you going to try and take some of these actions in your daily life?

Transportation
Hi my name is Lilja Dögg and I live in Iceland. I live in summer house area, it´s near to a small town named Hveragerði. My school is 13 km away from my home and I play football with my team, Fylkir in the capital city of Iceland, Reykjavík. Reykjavík is about 40km away from my home and I drive to Reykjavík 5 times a week. Because of this, my transportation was high compared to other people in Iceland. I alway drive alone both to school and to football practices. I would like to carpool or take bus if I could but that´s not a option for me. It´s not possible because im the only girl in my city that plays football with this team so I have noone to carpool with to practices. I can´t take bus to practice because we always practice in the evening and the bus to Hveragerði doesn´t go so late. Why I don´t carpool to school is because I have my own car and I like to be on a car. I know it´s better to carpool and I want to do more of that in the future.
