Students from around the world calculated their class mean and standard deviations for their footprints and posted them on our world map.
Do you see differences across the globe? If so, why do you think those differences exist?
Did you use the calculator to try to reduce your footprint down to the average from a citizen of another country? What changes would you have to make to lower your footprint in this way? Are you going to try and take some of these actions in your daily life?

Quintrel's Carbon footprint
My name is Quintrel. I’m a 15 year old living in Mooresville, NC, USA. My total carbon was a total of 12,351 kgs. Compared to the average which is 15,918 kgs. I have found that I’m below the average. The majority of my carbon footprint came from the food that I eat. The carbon footprint that comes from the my food which is 5,121 kgs. I was not surprised by the fact that my total was below the average. I was surprised that my food was the highest. I know I eat a lot but I thought my home would be higher. I had predict that my total would be lower than the average. Though this task I have that I’m doing less than the average person. To decrease my carbon footprint I could decrease the amount of carbon i release while doing things at my house. I could turn off light when I’m done using them.
