Students from around the world calculated their class mean and standard deviations for their footprints and posted them on our world map.
Do you see differences across the globe? If so, why do you think those differences exist?
Did you use the calculator to try to reduce your footprint down to the average from a citizen of another country? What changes would you have to make to lower your footprint in this way? Are you going to try and take some of these actions in your daily life?

Carbon Footprint results
My total fooprint was 20273 kg. If this is the average of mine and compared to the region which is 15918 kg then it is about 5000 below the average. My average is higher than I thought. I dont really get out of the house so my transportation is lower than I thought. My purchases is the lowest out of all of them.
I thought my results would be less then I thought. I had like 17,000 less than you... but that is because my family eats organic and I don't fly
My total footprint was 11,025 which was much less than yours. I'd have to disagree and say that I was not surprised at how low my amount was. I also disagree because my transportation was my highest amount, much higher than the average. I do agree that my purchases are much lower though, than the average and mine.
My total footprint was 13,500 which was a lot less than what you had. However my family does bot fly and we try to save as much food and electricity as possibly.
Your total footprint is way higher than mine, also it's higher than the region. My parents make me recycle, turn off lights when I'm not using them, and all the time they make me turn my tv off.
