Student Footprints

Students from around the world calculated their class mean and standard deviations for their footprints and posted them on our world map.

Do you see differences across the globe? If so, why do you think those differences exist?

Did you use the calculator to try to reduce your footprint down to the average from a citizen of another country? What changes would you have to make to lower your footprint in this way? Are you going to try and take some of these actions in your daily life?

My Carbon Footprint

bbobbby

Whats up the world i am a student from North Carolina and my carbon footprint is just about average for our area at 11,314 but is much above the worlds average carbon footprint because of many things such as not trying to dispose of waste good and also driving a car that makes very bad gas milage for all of our vacations(29 kpg)I think that i could improve it by maybe not driving a gas guzzler and also composting and recycling more.

Yea, I agree with you. If you reduce the amount of times you drive and drive something else then a gas guzzler. You can reduce your footprint

I agree, if you take away the amount of how many times you drive and like ride a bike that could be away to lower your footprint

My carbon footprint was much lower and I agree you need to reduce your transportation.
