Students from around the world calculated their class mean and standard deviations for their footprints and posted them on our world map.
Do you see differences across the globe? If so, why do you think those differences exist?
Did you use the calculator to try to reduce your footprint down to the average from a citizen of another country? What changes would you have to make to lower your footprint in this way? Are you going to try and take some of these actions in your daily life?

My Carbon Footprint
Hi, my name is Makayla I am from Mooresville North Carolina, USA. My Carbon Footprint total is 15913kg. Its a little beneath my region. I could decrease it by stop taking so many trips.
YA MAKAYLA WHY YOU TAKING SO MANY TRIPS? HUH YOU WANT THE HOLE IS THE OZONE LAYER TO GROW????
Hi Makayla, My Footprint was a little less then you, my footprint was 11,029. I am with you on the trips (I could take less trips too). Good Job on being less then your region!!!
Mine is higher than the regions so I could definitely take less trips because that is the thing that has the most effect on my score.
I think you could definitely make less trips. It would decrease you're carbon footprint by alot.
My footprint was lower than the region, you should try to decrease your footprint.
My footprint was higher than the regions footprint. Mine was so high because of the energy we use in our house.
I agree that if you didn't take a lot of trips it would go down to somewhere a little closer to 10,000.
Glad you are lower than the region. Good plan on taking less trips.
You do need to decrease your footprint so you should stop taking so many trips or take them by a different transportation method.
less trips is a good idea, i could do the same for me.
it is good to keep your carbon footprint low so that you can help lower the carbon in the air to help the earth
