Students from around the world calculated their class mean and standard deviations for their footprints and posted them on our world map.
Do you see differences across the globe? If so, why do you think those differences exist?
Did you use the calculator to try to reduce your footprint down to the average from a citizen of another country? What changes would you have to make to lower your footprint in this way? Are you going to try and take some of these actions in your daily life?

My Carbon Footprint
I notices that my carbon foot print is a lot higher in transportation than the average. My transportation is 13,143(average is 8,859), my home is 2,162(average is 13,017), my food is 1,299(average is 7,699), and my purchase is 142(average is 4,129). My home, food, and purchase are all a lot lower than average but my transportation is a lot higher due to the fact that my family travel on airplanes a lot. I love to travel and I do a lot, but it is really bad for the environment. Airplanes and all vehicles pollute the air with all the bad gasses they use. If only there was a way to travel without polluting the earth.
The same situation happened to me as well, the rest of my percentages were near average but my transportation was triple the average in my region.
My Carbon Footprint is really high in transportation too, not as high as yours though. My family goes on road trips/vacations/camping/visiting family and that is where a lot of transportation mileage comes from
