My total footprint was 43,728 kgs of CO2 per year compared to an average of 15,918 kgs for North Carolina. My average is about 27,810 over the average amount for my region. Most of my carbon footprint came from transportation. I was pretty surprised that my footprint was that high because I didn't think I really did much but once I do this and step back to evaluate I’ve realized I do more than the average. Learning wise I learned that I need to reduce my transportation by a good bit. In order to reduce my footprint I think I could go less places and start preserving power rather than leaving the lights on.
