Students from around the world calculated their class mean and standard deviations for their footprints and posted them on our world map.
Do you see differences across the globe? If so, why do you think those differences exist?
Did you use the calculator to try to reduce your footprint down to the average from a citizen of another country? What changes would you have to make to lower your footprint in this way? Are you going to try and take some of these actions in your daily life?

Carbon Footprint
Hi my name is Kevyn, I'm from Mooresville, North Carolina, U.S.A. My carbon footprint total is 19,143 kgs and in my region the average is 15,918. My carbon footprint is above average because of my transportation which is 7,071 kgs, which is the most kilograms. I know I could definitely do better things and emit less carbon into the air. I could ride buses or ride a bike to places that are close. My hypothesis was to be an average person in North Carolina, but I didn't know I was emitting so much carbon. There's many ways to save the world and that's by using buses and bikes.
You can do it and lower your carbon footprint
Its good that you are taking non polluting ways of travel. My footprint was rather lower than yours and good luck with lowering your footprint!
You could walk to some places because traveling that much is hurting the atmosphere.
Maybe you should ride your bike or walk more often.
You could try not going to New Jersey and flying as often, It seems like transportation is your biggest issue.
You should try and walk or ride a bike as often as you can.
My carbon footprint was higher than yours because me and my family take trips all the time and i'm working on taking less trips
your footprint was way higher than mines, to try to reduce your footprint you could just ride a bike or walk its healthy for both you and your environment
