Students from around the world calculated their class mean and standard deviations for their footprints and posted them on our world map.
Do you see differences across the globe? If so, why do you think those differences exist?
Did you use the calculator to try to reduce your footprint down to the average from a citizen of another country? What changes would you have to make to lower your footprint in this way? Are you going to try and take some of these actions in your daily life?

Carbon Footprint Calculator Experience
My carbon footprint calculator experience was overall pretty great. Even though it took a long time answering all the questions, it was totally worth it to see how big my carbon footprint was. The questions were very relevant, thorough and inclusive. There are so many aspects of my life that affect global warming. It was a very worthwhile experience that I gained a lot of knowledge from. Before doing this calculator, I didn't care much for global warming but now I do. I didn't realize how big and pervasive of an issue it is. The great thing about all of this is now I know what I can do about it. I'm going to start making efforts to reduce my carbon footprint by taking small steps. Some of which include nonstop flights, bringing reusable grocery bags to the store, using more reusable containers instead of ziploc bags, taking baths instead of showers, and turning the lights off more. I hope my efforts can reduce the amount of carbon emissions I produce and I will convince the others around me to do the same. Good luck to all of you!
we all have to start at one point caring about the world
that's great man glad to see someone is trying to help the world round or applause
good job you are doing great keep on going and make the world a better place.
I agree as well, it is a great idea to change how you do so in life. Changing how you do less of Carbon Footprints really does make a difference to this world!
This is good news I hope that you do influence more people to do the same.
Agree with your Footprint and some people to this and some just don't care about world...
Great Job on making a difference.
I agree. At first I thought my footprint would be over the average person but I was under. I still think this is a great way to help realize and understand the little things we do can make a big impact on our footprint. We should all try to reduce our levels of carbon, I agree it's great we can see what we can do to change.
I felt the same way about my carbon footprint. I also learned a lot from this project as well.

Its good that you know how to bring down your footprint and have god habits to help your footprint too.
The footprint is a good way to show that you understand the things that can help save our community or region. I really think if everyone a least did one good thing a day that it would become a better place. It's the also the small things that can make a bigger impact.
I agree. The Carbon Footprint was a good way of representing how our actions affect the ecosystem and the world around us.
