Student Footprints

Students from around the world calculated their class mean and standard deviations for their footprints and posted them on our world map.

Do you see differences across the globe? If so, why do you think those differences exist?

Did you use the calculator to try to reduce your footprint down to the average from a citizen of another country? What changes would you have to make to lower your footprint in this way? Are you going to try and take some of these actions in your daily life?

My Carbon Footprint

jourden96

Hi my name is jourden. Im from Omaha Nebraska in the united states but my carbon footprint is in Mooresville, North Carolina. My total carbon footprint is 12,358 which is below average and my carbon footprint came from my house.  I really thought that my total would be the average but it is below and i need to change my home and how much food I get.

same Jourden, most of my carbon footprint came from my home too, what i'm trying to do to cut down on that was to turn things off when i'm not using them

My carbon footprint was also below average. Mine was even low than yours, mine was 11,976. My food was also a little high and played a big part into my carbon project like yours.
