My carbon foot print is below average. It is a total of 8310 kgs. The average person in the region that I live in uses about 15918 kgs. The majority of my carbon foot print came from food. To be honest I am not shocked at all, I actually expected to have a really low kgs. What I learned from this experiment, is how my eating habits effect the environment. What I can do to decrease my carbon footprint in the future is buy local and organic food.
Your total carbon footprint is the lowest one I have seen so far! It's a good idea to buy locally grown foods because the food doesn't have to ship as far to get to you and it saves energy. Another way to reduce your food average is to eat out less and spend more time cooking at home. Your footprint is really impressive!
