Students from around the world calculated their class mean and standard deviations for their footprints and posted them on our world map.
Do you see differences across the globe? If so, why do you think those differences exist?
Did you use the calculator to try to reduce your footprint down to the average from a citizen of another country? What changes would you have to make to lower your footprint in this way? Are you going to try and take some of these actions in your daily life?

My Carbon Footprint - Mooresville High School
Hello, my name is Emma and I am sixteen years old. I'm from Mooresville, NC, USA. My total carbon footprint was 22,007, which is definitely above average. I think this was due to the excessive amount of traveling I had to do this year since the majority of it came from transportation. The results were somewhat of what I expected, but I didn't realize how much traveling affected your carbon footprint. In the future, try to minimize travel and not have connecting flights and carpool with friends.
My transportation footprint was also in the 20,000s; I was just as surprised by the amount of carbon emissions from a few flights.
