Students from around the world calculated their class mean and standard deviations for their footprints and posted them on our world map.
Do you see differences across the globe? If so, why do you think those differences exist?
Did you use the calculator to try to reduce your footprint down to the average from a citizen of another country? What changes would you have to make to lower your footprint in this way? Are you going to try and take some of these actions in your daily life?

My Carbon Footprint
Hi my name is Skylar and I am 14 years old and I am from Mooresville North Carolina, USA.
My carbon footprint a total of 3,153 kgs and my regions average is 4,184 kgs
WOW YOUR REGION MUST BE REALLY EFFICIENT, I WISH MY REGION WAS AS EFFICIETN AS THAT. CAN YOU TELL ME WHAT YOU DO TO KEEP YOUR FOOTPRINT SO LOW
Hi Skylar, I wish my footprint was as low as yours... Mine was 11,029, probably because I took 3 airplane trips this year. Good Job!!!
Hello Skylar, your personal footprint is a little and so is your region. Maybe you could reduce transportation.
That is a pretty good footprint good job
Hi Skylar, if your food category was highest you could eat less processed foods, if your transportation was highest try taking less trips or carpooling more and if your home if highest make sure you are recycling and and turning lights off when you leave a room. But overall good job for getting your footprint under the regions.
Hi Skylar, my carbon footprint was much higher than yours probably because of all of the trips I took in the summer.
Wow. Nice footprint!! It's really low!
Your footprint may be low, but its really good.
My C.F is 8,155 and I think its a little higher than normal of the amount of electricity I use at my home.
I don't know if yours is really low or mine is really high because mine is 15107.
Where did they majority of your carbon footprint come from? Mine was home and my total was 8,685.
