Student Footprints

Students from around the world calculated their class mean and standard deviations for their footprints and posted them on our world map.

Do you see differences across the globe? If so, why do you think those differences exist?

Did you use the calculator to try to reduce your footprint down to the average from a citizen of another country? What changes would you have to make to lower your footprint in this way? Are you going to try and take some of these actions in your daily life?

Car Pooling

Well, I believe carpooling with your friends is a great way to help reduce gas costs and footprint left by vehicles. Car Pooling is not only a great way to reduce, but also a fun way to finish homework and talk with friends while traveling.

I agree that car pooling is a good way to save more gas and leave a footprint, but it would be better if you can walk to school and public transportation would be better because it uses less gas.

Carpooling definitely helps, I do a lot of running around, but most of it is with other people so it helps a lot.
