Students from around the world calculated their class mean and standard deviations for their footprints and posted them on our world map.
Do you see differences across the globe? If so, why do you think those differences exist?
Did you use the calculator to try to reduce your footprint down to the average from a citizen of another country? What changes would you have to make to lower your footprint in this way? Are you going to try and take some of these actions in your daily life?

About my student footprint
Hello, my name is DeAsia and I'm 16 years old. I am from Mooresville, North Carolina in the USA. The average footprint for my region is 15,918 kgs. My carbon footprint total summed up to 13,571 kgs. These scores are close in comparison, but have their differences. What makes up the majority of my footprint is the Food aspect. I don't make the healthiest choices, but they aren't completely awful either. I was honestly expecting my footprint to be way higher, simply because I wasn't sure of how it was calculated. I found this project as a whole to be very insightful and eye-opening. I know, for future reference, to be more mindful of my take-out habits and restaurant trips.
