Students from around the world calculated their class mean and standard deviations for their footprints and posted them on our world map.
Do you see differences across the globe? If so, why do you think those differences exist?
Did you use the calculator to try to reduce your footprint down to the average from a citizen of another country? What changes would you have to make to lower your footprint in this way? Are you going to try and take some of these actions in your daily life?

My carbon footprint
Hi my name is sabatian. Im from New York ,Queens in the United States. But my carbon footprint is based in Mooresville, North Carolina. My total carbon footprint is 12,326 which is below average and majority my carbon footprint came from home.I honestly thought i was going to be above average.Something i will change in the future is how much i keep my lights on and how much i travel
I Agree with you Sabatian, It would be smart if you started turning your lights off before you leave. It will save a lot of energy and fossil fuels. What was your total for your home energy use?
Great job on having a below average carbon footprint! Now and days we heavily rely on fossil fuels on a daily basis, so I think it's impressive that yours is below the typical rate.
Good thoughts on future plans to help save energy and I was the same way, I thought mine would be really high.
your plan to improve your carbon footprint is a great idea, better get to work!
Its a good idea to lessen your use of energy at home because turning off the lights before you leave is so easy and has a big impact.
For us in North Carolina the total that you have is actually way higher I guess different places with more people means a higher carbon footprint
Good idea! My carbon footprint is lower than yours, although I do like your approach!
