Students from around the world calculated their class mean and standard deviations for their footprints and posted them on our world map.
Do you see differences across the globe? If so, why do you think those differences exist?
Did you use the calculator to try to reduce your footprint down to the average from a citizen of another country? What changes would you have to make to lower your footprint in this way? Are you going to try and take some of these actions in your daily life?

My Carbon Footprint - UAE
I found out that my carbon footprint was really high. It was 8803 total carbon footprint. My Transportation was 4,829 whereas the average for my region was 1,357. This is because I traveled more than usual last year. My home was 1,939 whereas my region was 1,481, not that much of a difference there. My food was 1,910 which was a lot lower than my region's average, 2,597. My purchases were 126 whilst my country average was 508. I Think i can reduce my Carbon Footprint by traveling less. This is what I learned from this lesson, and now I am working and fixing my mistakes and improving our environment
Hi, that's very good your carbon footprint is 8,803 kgs. Going to different places is very good and interesting because you learn new things and see new things. If everyone travels (like imagine millions of people) lots of carbon is emitted into the air and the environment is suffering. There's a variety of ways to help the environment like by using buses and bikes to travel. Those would emit less carbon, do you agree with this strategy?
You're carbon footprint is really high. What do you do to make it so high?
My carbon footprint is a lot higher than yours! My home average was almost 15 times higher than yours!
What contributes to your scores that are on the higher end? My home score is on the higher side because we have a lot of appliances that we keep on, as well as lights.
