Students from around the world calculated their class mean and standard deviations for their footprints and posted them on our world map.
Do you see differences across the globe? If so, why do you think those differences exist?
Did you use the calculator to try to reduce your footprint down to the average from a citizen of another country? What changes would you have to make to lower your footprint in this way? Are you going to try and take some of these actions in your daily life?

My Carbon Footprint
I expected my carbon footprint to be a lot lower than it was, due to the foods I purchase and eat and my daily lifestyle. The thing that made my footprint so high, was my transportation. In the past year I took 36 different flights to different places around the world so that led to my footprint being exponentially high.
To be honest traveling is very great, its good to see new things but I would say to use more public transportation or walk or bike when in your home town.
Yeah transportation contributes a lot. I would recommend not taking as many flights.
I feel the same towards transportation. I think public transportation becoming more common would decrease the footprint. Riding a bike would be more effective.
