I am from Mooresville North Carolina, I am 17, I have a carbon footprint of 9,145, My home is 3497, my food is 1355, and purchases is 308. It was far below average, and there is little I can do to further lower it.
Dear Mark - it seems that your travel footprint is over 5000kg of carbon. Can you think of any ways to reduce your travel footprint - on your way to school or during trips? I realize that in vacations, the parents usually make the decisions, but maybe you could talk to your parents about it.
Als, for your home footprint -- what was the major contributor for you: home cooling in summer? washing and drying clothes? lights? There are actions you can take to lower your footprint in these areas.
A score of 9100, doesnt seem that bad
