Students from around the world calculated their class mean and standard deviations for their footprints and posted them on our world map.
Do you see differences across the globe? If so, why do you think those differences exist?
Did you use the calculator to try to reduce your footprint down to the average from a citizen of another country? What changes would you have to make to lower your footprint in this way? Are you going to try and take some of these actions in your daily life?

My Carbon Footprint
I was very surprised with the results. After seeing them and comparing the with other schools in the USA and out of the USA, I’ve realized how different everyone’s footprint is. Larger cities had a lower total for their transportation due to them transporting publicly. My mother has a car and no I have friend hat have a car as well. If I lived closer to shops and markets, I’d prefer to ride a bicycle, but due to living near a busy highway, I cannot. I would also like to start eating more local foods. I think I might change the way I travel and how much I travel. I want to recycle more plastics as well.
Transportation is and always will be the largest contributor to anyone's carbon footprint, reducing that will defiantly help your footprint
