Hayley's Carbon Footprint

The total of my carbon footprint is 13,880 and it was below average for my region. The majority of my carbon footprint came from transportation since I live in a different city than my school. My results surprised me because I thought that my total carbon footprint would be above average but it was actually less. I learned that if I think that I use a lot of energy, than the average American must use a lot. We should all start trying to conserve less. In the future, I need to move in an area that I go to school in so that I can save gas.
My carbon footprint was below average as well. I do think that if you lived closer to the school that you wouldn't use as much energy. I do agree that throughout this project we did learn that we use a lot of carbon as well as energy. We should do many things such as not leaving the water running, taking less showers, and etc.
