Student Footprints

Students from around the world calculated their class mean and standard deviations for their footprints and posted them on our world map.

Do you see differences across the globe? If so, why do you think those differences exist?

Did you use the calculator to try to reduce your footprint down to the average from a citizen of another country? What changes would you have to make to lower your footprint in this way? Are you going to try and take some of these actions in your daily life?

My carbon footprint

matthewrusabod1sr

My carbon footprint is 7012 which is surprising because I flew to new jersey and back and also drove to Los Angeles and back.  I am very surprised that my carbon footprint was this low  because when every i'm in my room or in any other room I tend to like to keep a lot of the lights on which  makes my carbon footprint higher. My personal purchases was only 199 which is a lot lower the in my city average at 1,191. I don't go shopping very often and when I do I tend to buy a lot of stuff that can last me a while.
