Students from around the world calculated their class mean and standard deviations for their footprints and posted them on our world map.
Do you see differences across the globe? If so, why do you think those differences exist?
Did you use the calculator to try to reduce your footprint down to the average from a citizen of another country? What changes would you have to make to lower your footprint in this way? Are you going to try and take some of these actions in your daily life?

Solar Powered Houses
Solar powered houses help the environment and are more reliable. When there's a power outage some solar powered houses still have power during the outage plus using solar powered houses are way better that most powering systems like gas.
That is why I believe more people shout use solar power to power their house.
I agree, and solar panels are becoming more common and cheap I believe. They are also more reliant as you said as they can still provide you with energy during power outages. They also produce less carbon since it uses the sun to gather power. Therefore I fully agree you that people should use more solar panels instead of gas to power their houses.
I agree because they don't use gas or electricity and they use the sun's energy for power. This is a great idea and I think more people should think about this and consider to do this. Hopefully in the future solar power houses will bee very popular and I hope they're cheap enough for people to buy.
I agree with you Justin but the only problem is that we can't solely run on solar energy. First some areas get less sunlight then others. How would we get energy to them? Then at night we don't get energy from the sun. Then we would have to create another system to get energy to places with less energy. That will probably take much work, resources, and energy to do. So before we become reliant on solar energy we must be vigilant of these constraints.
