Student Footprints

Students from around the world calculated their class mean and standard deviations for their footprints and posted them on our world map.

Do you see differences across the globe? If so, why do you think those differences exist?

Did you use the calculator to try to reduce your footprint down to the average from a citizen of another country? What changes would you have to make to lower your footprint in this way? Are you going to try and take some of these actions in your daily life?

Recycled Technology

sipilifusabod1sr

Since we are getting new forms of technology ever so often, we should recycle old, deactivated devices to the producer so they can probably fix and use old parts to use on newer devices. An example would be phones. Since most people get newer versions of Apple or Samsung products, old devices are either left away catching dust or thrown away. This would help the producers create a source of reused parts to stop wasting new materials when we could save more material by typically recycling our phones.
