Loss of Calcium Carbonate
With more CO2 being added to the ocean, the calcium carbonate (CaCo2) has been decreasing. This is not good because shells use calcium carbonate to get stronger. With shells not as strong, animals such as crabs who use shells for homes will have a harder time finding a place to live.
