Students from around the world calculated their class mean and standard deviations for their footprints and posted them on our world map.
Do you see differences across the globe? If so, why do you think those differences exist?
Did you use the calculator to try to reduce your footprint down to the average from a citizen of another country? What changes would you have to make to lower your footprint in this way? Are you going to try and take some of these actions in your daily life?

Average carbon production per capita in Croatia
After finishing the project and comparing the data on average carbon production per capita in Croatia with the average in other parts of the world I find it above the average but not as much as I expected.
The average carbon production per capita in Croatia was 8160 kg, but I was expecting a higher result for the state and lifestyle in our country. Namely, the republic of Croatia is not at such a level of development as other developed countries of the world, It is precisely this element that made me assume such a prerequisite
Some of the items mentioned as causes of pollution include the way of eating, transport, domestic consumption and people in Croatia do not live up to a great life. Our financial status is not at its peak and most people can not even afford organic food. Road connection is not the best and people often do not have a choice, but have to travel by car.
Sortation of waste is at a very low level. In most cities there is no possibility to sortate waste because it is a cost we simply do not have the funds. All this is connected with the fact that people a re quite unsatisfied with the standard of living in Croatia and have no time or desire for a lot of things and even for the struggle to preserve nature.
According to all the results that have been made during this research it is seen that the time to change the way of life of many of us, but to do so, many other elements have to be improved, and it takes a lot of time so that first each one of us has to wonder how he can help our planet and move away from small things and thus provide an example to others and make a big step forward.
