Students from around the world calculated their class mean and standard deviations for their footprints and posted them on our world map.
Do you see differences across the globe? If so, why do you think those differences exist?
Did you use the calculator to try to reduce your footprint down to the average from a citizen of another country? What changes would you have to make to lower your footprint in this way? Are you going to try and take some of these actions in your daily life?

Agriculture Awareness!
Water is the backbone for our environment. It plays a huge role in leveling our carbon concentrations. All living organisms need water to survive. Humans use to much water currently for our environment to able to thrive in the future. Agriculture is a huge part of our dietary needs as farms make fruits and vegetables and diary products and many other food resources. One thing that should be restricted from mass production is almonds. Each single almond takes at least three gallons to fully grow. Almonds are healthy and have positive nutrients but I believe their is other options. Farmers should only be allowed to grow a certain amount of almonds because it is sucking to much of our water source. Water also helps level our Earth's climate by transporting cold water to the tropics and warm water to the poles. We overall need to more aware of the amount of water that is being used to create our foods.
I agree with Joe E (USA) BOD3ZA on the importance of Agriculture in out lives. The point about the almonds is very interesting. It is hard to believed that one small almond would cost 3 gallons of water to fully grow. We have to be more conscious about what we decide to eat and how many times we eat it.
I love to eat a juicy piece of steak but the downside to my consumption is how costly steak is to produce. One pound of steak can cost almost 1800 gallons of water.
These facts area catalyst for change in out diets.
I agree. According to the post, I am just aware of the impacts of agriculture on the water sources. The example of almonds is practical and persuasive to present the point that farming actually requires a lot of water. And some plants' growth should be restricted due to their huge consumption of water sources. It's meaningful and effectual to pay attention to the agriculture.
I totally agree with Joe E. We need to conserve water in order for Agricultural awareness. As he says, one almond can take as much as three gallons of water to fully grow. Having to use these amounts of water can affect our environment widely. This can change our dietary needs. What i'm also trying to say is conserving water can benefit the mass production of food for humans and much more plants to grow.
I agree with you Joe E. We need to be more aware as a whole about how much water is really used to grow certain crops and manufacture or make different products. For example, a half pound burger take approximately 1,300 gallons of water to make, and costs around 3 to 5 dollars. This is unacceptable and people must be more aware of how much water their daily tasks and eating habits use, and sometimes waste.
