Student Footprints

Students from around the world calculated their class mean and standard deviations for their footprints and posted them on our world map.

Do you see differences across the globe? If so, why do you think those differences exist?

Did you use the calculator to try to reduce your footprint down to the average from a citizen of another country? What changes would you have to make to lower your footprint in this way? Are you going to try and take some of these actions in your daily life?

The little things matter

Most people don't think of the little actions they are doing that is harming the environment. Some of us at home probably have a roll of paper towels in the kitchen and doesn't even think about using a reusable towel. Composting at home or even recycling also can help the environment. Staying aware at all times and being more conscious needs to happen.

I agree, such as just turning off a light or walking instead of driving, that can help so much.
