Students from around the world calculated their class mean and standard deviations for their footprints and posted them on our world map.
Do you see differences across the globe? If so, why do you think those differences exist?
Did you use the calculator to try to reduce your footprint down to the average from a citizen of another country? What changes would you have to make to lower your footprint in this way? Are you going to try and take some of these actions in your daily life?

Public transportation
In cities most CO2 is released from public transportation, if we could try and find a better and more efficient way for public transportation than CO2 emotions would be majorly decreased. Stuff like public busses and metros are the biggest problems because they release a huge amount of CO2 and increase the negative effects. If we solve this problem then we wouldn’t consume as much fuel and not release as much CO2.
In cities that have high CO2 wonder why they have such a high level of it. Well they could help reduce that by using public transportation. Instead of everyone driving their cars with only one or two people in it they could use public transportation and reduce their carbon footprint and help lower their cities levels of CO2.
