Students from around the world calculated their class mean and standard deviations for their footprints and posted them on our world map.
Do you see differences across the globe? If so, why do you think those differences exist?
Did you use the calculator to try to reduce your footprint down to the average from a citizen of another country? What changes would you have to make to lower your footprint in this way? Are you going to try and take some of these actions in your daily life?

Recycle
One way to reduce a carbon footprint is to use the 3 r's: reduce, reuse, and recycle. To reduce waste a person can use reusable water bottles instead of plastic ones like arrowhead or Dasani. Instead of using paper bags at the store, people can reuse cloth bags. Not everything goes in the trash. Put a recycling bin and a trash bin out for things that cannot be composted or recycled. All of these tips and tricks can reduce carbon emissions. It just up to people to use them.
I agree with everything you stated above. Being able to recycle properly and having less waste would really help the carbon footprint drop. Having cloth bags would limit the amount of plastic that we use which will help us limit the amount of waste that we create.
