Hello, my name is Vivian. I’m currently in grade 7 in Vietnam. Apparently, this calculator seems to have some problem? Or maybe because I’ve put the datas incorrectly. Either way, my carbon footprint is 60 times larger than an average person here in my country... I rarely litter but I do go to school by car or motorbike. I often travel by plane and eat a lot. If my habits are similar to a normal person, why am I polluting the environment more? Please help~

So as me. I barely litter, but I go to school by car everyday. I also travel by plane alot. Maybe that's the reason why.
I think transportation is the largest reason why our carbon footprint increases.
You may be polluting more due to your diet or transportation if you can fine other ways to get around it may reduce the carbon footprint. Also, I mentioned diet because, the more live stock are killed the more carbon is wasted. Cutting down on meat cannot only be beneficial to you but to the environment as well.
@crissknight Perhaps our diet is a concern, yes, you are right. Transportation here is also a problem. We have too many motorcycles, cars and trucks!

Try to recycle more. It's pretty easy, like when you go shopping you have those plastic or paper bag, you can keep it to reuse again in the future. The next time you can bring them with you! You can also recycle plastic bottle by saving them and give to the recycle factory.
