Students from around the world calculated their class mean and standard deviations for their footprints and posted them on our world map.
Do you see differences across the globe? If so, why do you think those differences exist?
Did you use the calculator to try to reduce your footprint down to the average from a citizen of another country? What changes would you have to make to lower your footprint in this way? Are you going to try and take some of these actions in your daily life?

Hi everyone. I'm Lisa and i'm from Vietnam. If you already know, Vietnam is still a developing country which has a huge amount of motorbikes and a decline in public transportation. My classmates and I produce an average of ~16000 kg of carbon footprint each person. I think we need to start reducing our footprint and preventing further effects to the environment.
I travel to school by car everyday so I think that's why Transportation takes almost 65% over my total Cf. My house is quite far from school so could you please figure out some of the ways for me to decrease the amount of carbon footprint that I produce each day?
Just walk to school ![]()
You could share rides to school, therefore decreasing your carbon levels, and those of your friends.
You could start walking to school instead of driving to produce less carbon
If you could walk to school or home, it will lower your carbon footprint. If that's not an option, I would suggest riding halfway or until its safe to walk the rest of the way. Doing little by little can reduce it a lot.
