Students from around the world calculated their class mean and standard deviations for their footprints and posted them on our world map.
Do you see differences across the globe? If so, why do you think those differences exist?
Did you use the calculator to try to reduce your footprint down to the average from a citizen of another country? What changes would you have to make to lower your footprint in this way? Are you going to try and take some of these actions in your daily life?

How to decrease our footprint?
Hi, my name is Kenny and I'm 14 years old. I study in Singapore International School and I need some help from you guys. My carbon footprint is about 59000 and that's a lot. So I need you guys to help me to decrease our footprint and giving some ideas to save the environment.
Hi, firstly you should see where is your carbon footprint the largest. If it´s the transport then you should use public more often, if it´s electricity then you should spend less time on computer etc.
Also, If you could organize a carpool to school, you could cut down your carbon footprint, and your friends.
You could start walking to school or taking a bike, you could try and not use as much water and electricity at your house if possible and don't keep the water or the lights on all the time and make sure you eat healthy.
Stop shopping too much if you do
Also stop going out to eat. Try cooking your own food or buying locally grown food if you do not already do so.
The best way to decrease your footprint is calculate it through the calculator on this website and see where you struggle the most! Many things could affect your footprint, so you have to retrace your steps first.
