Students from around the world calculated their class mean and standard deviations for their footprints and posted them on our world map.
Do you see differences across the globe? If so, why do you think those differences exist?
Did you use the calculator to try to reduce your footprint down to the average from a citizen of another country? What changes would you have to make to lower your footprint in this way? Are you going to try and take some of these actions in your daily life?

My carbon footprint
Hello!!! My name is Ella. I'm in grade 7 and I study in SIS school in Vung Tau city. The world's carbon footprint made the Earth has more polluted. And now my carbon footprint is 4890 kg. So how to reduce that ? Please answer me, thanks.
Hi! My name is Chris, I'm in 9th grade. First, let me start off by saying your carbon footprint is to that bad compared to mine! Mine is 23,819 kgs! Some things that I am going to try to do in order to reduce it is start by turning the water off when I brush my teeth, do you do that? Also, I am gonna start limiting my spending, and try to walk or ride my bike more places. I think if everyone started riding bikes or walking more, we could reduce our transportation pollution at least by half, what do you think though?
Mine is 12, 733, how do you keep yours so low? Anyway keep up the great work!
Mine is 15,156 and my highest one is transportation and what i've been doing to reduce it is to walk to and from school to reduce the amount of traveling I use
Mine carbon footprint is below average but still above yours. Mine is 9616 kgs because I do very little traveling.
mine is 13,535 and my highest one is transportation. ways im going to try to reduce is to walk or bike places instead of using a car.
I think that the way that we can lower the average is saving energy and making everything closer so you don't need to drive or drive so far to get somewhere and the average would lower.
