Students from around the world calculated their class mean and standard deviations for their footprints and posted them on our world map.
Do you see differences across the globe? If so, why do you think those differences exist?
Did you use the calculator to try to reduce your footprint down to the average from a citizen of another country? What changes would you have to make to lower your footprint in this way? Are you going to try and take some of these actions in your daily life?

Name:Obed Mikombo
Age:15
From:Mooresville,Nc,USA
Footprint:My total footprint is 16,698 and the majority of it came from transportation which was 6,069.Which was surprising because I only really a certain about once or twice a year and I never take planes. But i learn that it's hard for me to decrease my footprint from transportation because I don't like staying in one place for a long time. But to be honest I do not have any future plans of how to decrease my footprint but I will end up seeing what will happen at any time.
I can't stay in one place either but to decrease your footprint you could start walking to places.
Our averages our very close together and most of mine also came from transportation. You could start walking or carpooling with your friends to decrease your footprint.
Nice total thats low compared to mine keep it up.
You should fix your transportation issue
to decrease your transportation footprint try to ride a bike when its ho instead of riding in a car
Since my transportation was very high also (12,209) but I don't travel or take planes often it's made me realize how damaging vehicles are to the envirment when you take a lot of car rides.
I also think that you should find a way to decrease your transportation issue.
