Students from around the world calculated their class mean and standard deviations for their footprints and posted them on our world map.
Do you see differences across the globe? If so, why do you think those differences exist?
Did you use the calculator to try to reduce your footprint down to the average from a citizen of another country? What changes would you have to make to lower your footprint in this way? Are you going to try and take some of these actions in your daily life?

My carbon footprint
My carbon footprint isn't that high because i turn off lights and the water when i'm not using them. But the thing i need to start turning off is the AC and the fan in my room because it uses energy and i need to start riding my bike more to places that i can if i don't need to use the car to get somewhere then i think my carbon footprint would go down.
if you cut down on the amount you use the ac and the amount you ride in gas vehicles the number would reduce drastically.
I agree ^ try to turn off the fan in your room more often because that will help and yes your carbon footprint will go down if you perhaps walking and riding a bike to more places than driving in a car. My carbon footprint is about 15,000, that can go down if I walked to more places also.
That's good that your carbon footprint isn't that high because you turn off the lights when you is done and just lower the amount of AC that you use.
