Students from around the world calculated their class mean and standard deviations for their footprints and posted them on our world map.
Do you see differences across the globe? If so, why do you think those differences exist?
Did you use the calculator to try to reduce your footprint down to the average from a citizen of another country? What changes would you have to make to lower your footprint in this way? Are you going to try and take some of these actions in your daily life?

My Carbon Footprint
My carbon footprint is just under average for my area: 33,132 kgs. I expected it to be much lower because I thought I was doing a pretty good job at the moment. I eat a lot of meat all the time which turns out to be a major reason as to why my footprint is so high. I always turn off the lights/water when I'm not using it. I drive a decent amount around town and don't fly often. My purchases were also low because I don't often go out spending a lot of money that I don't have. Any suggestions as to how I could lower my footprint?
You could eat more locally grown vegetables
Lower the amount of meat you eat a week and try buying more organic and locally grown foods.
