My name is Synamyn Adler and I am 17 years old. I am from Mooresville, NC. My total carbon footprint was 13,573. My regions average is 15,918 so I was slightly below average. In my class the average was 21,430 so I was below my classes average as well. The majority of my carbon footprint came from my transportation. I use a lot of miles throughout the week and my car is not very good on gas. My results were basically what I expected. I thought that my footprint would be below my regions because I try to preserve as much as I can. I was surprised at my transportations total though because I didn’t know how much carbon driving can use. There are many things I can start doing to decrease my carbon footprint. I can start walking more places instead of driving or I can use public transportation.
