Student Footprints

Students from around the world calculated their class mean and standard deviations for their footprints and posted them on our world map.

Do you see differences across the globe? If so, why do you think those differences exist?

Did you use the calculator to try to reduce your footprint down to the average from a citizen of another country? What changes would you have to make to lower your footprint in this way? Are you going to try and take some of these actions in your daily life?

Aaronm1234

My total carbon footprint was 13,535 kgs. Transportation was 658 kgs, for home i got 1,854 kgs, for food i got 3,914 kgs, for purchases i got 344 kgs. i feel like my food is a little too high and my home is high as well

emmie_foster

the reason why they are probably high is because you don't have a diet or food is just like your best friend. your home might be to high from not turning off your lights or leaving a lot of things on when you leave

Arisdelci

what you should do is not use a lot of energy if you think your home is high you can turn of the lights during the day.
