Students from around the world calculated their class mean and standard deviations for their footprints and posted them on our world map.
Do you see differences across the globe? If so, why do you think those differences exist?
Did you use the calculator to try to reduce your footprint down to the average from a citizen of another country? What changes would you have to make to lower your footprint in this way? Are you going to try and take some of these actions in your daily life?

My Carbon Footprint
My Carbon footprint was 7,552kgs because my purchases was low. Food was high it was 2,311kgs and transportation was high it was 1,236kgs because I do go places a lot. Home was high it was 3,121kgs.
the home is probably high due to over use of the AC and transportation can be altered if you ride a bike or walk.
Buying more organic and locally grown foods will help to lower your food total, but also biking, walking, and carpooling will help to lower your transportation as well.
Using lots of AC uses a lot of energy.
You should use energy when it is needed like during the night you can turn on the light. And you can start walking from places that are close to you.
What do you do at home that effects the atmosphere?(doesn't have to be personal). Do you eat a lot? What do you eat? How do you get to school? Does your mom buy clothes for you?
