Students from around the world calculated their class mean and standard deviations for their footprints and posted them on our world map.
Do you see differences across the globe? If so, why do you think those differences exist?
Did you use the calculator to try to reduce your footprint down to the average from a citizen of another country? What changes would you have to make to lower your footprint in this way? Are you going to try and take some of these actions in your daily life?

Breeding pets problem
I didn't see posts talking about stuff like this but I think it is a real issue that we need to address.
According to ASPCA, 1.2 miion dogs are euthanized in shelters every year because a lack of space, money and of course people who are willing to adopt them.
Some people love animals and take good care of them. On the other hand there are thousands of people breeding dogs (not olny dogs all kinds of animals) and keeping them in horrible conditions. The dogs are in pain, unhealthy and unloved. A big problem here is the overpopulation of dogs. There are simply too many pets that aren't taken care of. I can understand why someone would want a specific breed and that is perfectly fine with me if your intentions are pure.
But some people are breeding pets only for the profit. All they care is money. They are keeping the dogs in poor and unhygienic conditions. It is not a rare case that the animals are sick or have some genetic defects.
If you want a pet, consider adopting one. You will save a life.
Everything that lives should be treatet with respect and love.
Be a human and act humanely.
Thank you.
