Students from around the world calculated their class mean and standard deviations for their footprints and posted them on our world map.
Do you see differences across the globe? If so, why do you think those differences exist?
Did you use the calculator to try to reduce your footprint down to the average from a citizen of another country? What changes would you have to make to lower your footprint in this way? Are you going to try and take some of these actions in your daily life?

Alec Taylor
My name is Alec Taylor, I am from Mooresville NC in the United States of America. I am 15 years old. My data was actually a little bit under the average of the world. My total was 15,918. My lowest category was shopping because I don't usually go shopping. My reaction was not surprised because I expected to be near the average of the rest of the world. What I can do to use less carbon is not use as much car travel.
My data was very similar to yours
I see your total was a lot, I'm guessing you travel a lot.
WOW mine was only 8,688
Very good and same shopping gets boring after a while haha.
That's good and I think that everyone in the world should try to reduce their use of cars and planes because it emits a lot of carbon dioxide went it's added up.
